It's interesting how crazy one's life can get. It's also interesting how one's life can change in the blink of an eye... how one can work so hard at something for so long and then the opportunity they always dreamed of can come to the doorstep. Life is a tricky thing, a complicated thing that is ever changing. One day here, one day there. Most importantly, life is what you make it. Don't sit around at home wanting life to be more exciting and get better... MAKE IT MORE EXCITING! Go out and take in everything life has to offer.

Hi Jillian,
I am a lot like you. I've never really been a fan of reality television, xfactor, and the like. I now live in the mountains and dedicate my life to the outdoor activities and living life to the fullest, rather than wasting it on television, facebook, etc. as so many young people do. However one day I was just stumbling through Yahoo articles and saw something about 'most under-estimated x factor performances' (being a life long musician myself who was professional trained for over a decade in piano and flute), I thought, I have to see this (laughing to myself). Well I was mostly disappointed by all of them. But then I saw yours.. I sobbed like a baby throughout the entire thing. You made me feel like God, I wasn't the only one who endured bullying to such a severe extent. When I was growing up, I was bullied beyond all belief because of my asianic features, high cheek bones, etc. Today I'm beautiful (I'm 28 years old now). But back then, I guess people were jealous - and cruel about it. I went to an extremely strict catholic school. The bullying over the years got to be so intense that every night I would come home crying. By the time I was in 8th grade, I was refusing to go to school and telling my parents flat out I couldn't do it any more. They didn't know what to do. When they told the principle, it was harshly explained to them that nothing would be done and no action taken, because some children's parents were paying more money than my parents were to go to the school. I ended up dropping out of high school by 11th grade because being different and not having any friends made sitting through classes unbearable. Well I am happy and proud to say I have flourished and love who I am these days. It was a long - very long - and painful journey. I am so proud of you. So proud of you for looking to the light, the sun, the universe, whatever it may be, and realizing you are so beautiful - and so talented. Did you ever get to rub those jerks (from your past) noses in it? Hope you are laughing every day and living life to the fullest. From a friend - Angie
